Today was one of those moments every author quietly dreams about—when the story that lived in your head finally arrives in your hands. That’s right: Fire & Storm has arrived in physical draft form, and it’s beautiful.

This is a smaller book than its predecessor, Echoes of the neXt. At just over 80 pages, it’s a novella—tighter, more intimate, and laser-focused on a single story: the beginning of something that mattered long before either character knew just how much it would.

Because while Fire & Storm is the second release in the Technomancers Rise sequence, it’s also a recursive echo—a flashback to the first meeting between Fahrenheit and Ellemental. Set in the fractured time between the collapse of the neXt layer and the events of Echoes, this novella explores the moment when fire met storm… and didn’t pull away.

There are no chosen ones here. No destiny. Just two broken people standing in a burning world, each wondering if the other might be the last thing left worth trusting.

Fire & Storm is rawer, more focused. It’s about grief that doesn’t fade and choices that burn. And it’s the first time I’ve truly dipped into writing romance—though it’s threaded through falling buildings and recursive memory storms more than candlelight and roses.
