Introducing Heirs of the neXt — my new ongoing serial on Royal Road

I’ve been hinting at this for a while, and it’s finally live: Heirs of the neXt: Becoming Technomancers is my new, ongoing release on Royal Road. It’s a character-driven serial set entirely in the Technomancers Rise universe—updated frequently with bite-size chapters you can read for free as they drop.
Where this story sits in the Technomancers Rise timeline
Heirs of the neXt takes place after The NeXt City and before Book 4 (title to be revealed). Think of it as the bridge to the next major novel: a set of interwoven origin arcs that follow the next generation of Technomancers as they take their first steps toward Cathedral training and, eventually, toward the larger conflicts to come.
A couple of important notes:
No spoilers for earlier works. You can jump into Heirs even if you’ve only read Echoes of the neXt or just finished The NeXt City. I’m careful to keep forward momentum without revealing late-book twists from the novels.
Same world, new vantage point. You’ll see familiar places and hear familiar names, but this serial focuses on new teen protagonists finding their powers, limits, and loyalties.
